Aside from being the hometown of The Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, Davao City has long been known for its serene mountains, accessible beaches and a home to numerous delicacies. We have prepared a list of must-eats to help you find your way when visiting Davao City.

Durian Fruit

The King of Fruits, as they call it, has got to be your number one stop when visiting Davao City. Durian season falls between August- September which happens to be the city’s grandest fiesta, the Kadayawan Festival. Fruit stands filled with durian are found everywhere in the cheapest price possible. Davao City is also blessed with the abundance of mangosteen, pomelo and lanzones.

An authentic Tausug dish in Davao. Satti is a popular food in Zamboanga but Davao City offers you the same satisfaction with the original. You can enjoy satti at Davao City’s Pers Satti Haus along the highways of Matina Pangi and Roxas Boulevard.
